Dr. Babak Sheikh is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who has been in private practice for over 20 years. He often treats adults and children for a wide range of orthopaedic issues, from the aches and pains of everyday life to injuries and fracture care. He is fellowship trained in joint replacement and specializes in surgical and non-surgical treatments of the hip, knee, shoulders, and much more.
After earning his medical degree from Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Sheikh completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and fellowship training in adult joint replacement at the Rothman Institute, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
